Look! How Students of the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages Perform Chinese Classics by Japanese Drama--- Students Majoring in Japanese Won the Second Prize in the Provincial Competition!
Recently, the final of the 12th Japanese Drama Play Competition of Zhejiang Province with the theme of “Performing Chinese Classics by Japanese Drama” was held in Tongwen Hall of Zhejiang International Studies University. The competition was jointly sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Japan-China Friendship Association of Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan, and organized by Zhejiang International Studies University and Zhejiang Technology and Commerce University.
After the evaluation of the preliminary round within the colleges and universities of this province, the organizing committee of this competition totally received the videos submitted by 37 teams from 18 colleges and universities in the province. After anonymous evaluation by experts in the semi-final, 23 teams, including “Farewell My Concubine” that self-created and adapted by our students majoring in Japanese from the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages, reached the final. In the final, after the evaluation by all the experts, the play “Farewell My Concubine” performed by Zhou Bin and other 7 students from the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages finally won the second prize!
