Our University Became One of the First Batch of Cooperation Organizations of the “Zhejiang-West Flanders Higher Education Collaboration Platform”

Recently, the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province released the list of the first batch of colleges and universities included in the “Zhejiang-West Flanders Higher Education Collaboration Platform”, and our university was one of these 22 colleges and universities. In November 2023, our university dispatched a team to go aboard together with the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province to participate in the education exhibitions in the Netherlands and Belgium. In order to promote the high-quality cooperation and exchange of higher education between Zhejiang Province and West Flanders of Belgium, the two provinces jointly set up the “Zhejiang-West Flanders Higher Education Collaboration Platform” and held the opening ceremony. The construction of the platform was fast, efficiently and influential, which was highly appreciated by Chen Jie, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education. After the establishment of the “Zhejiang-West Flanders Higher Education Collaboration Platform”, the universities of Belgium, including Catholic University of Louvain, Ghent University, and the University of Applied Sciences of West Flanders, are expected to carry out cooperative programs with the cooperation organizations of Zhejiang Province on the aspects of energy, automotive technology, digital health and so on.
