In order to implement Xi Jinping’s thought of ecological civilization fully and deeply and promote the creation of a green university continuously in our university, the Office of Logistics Security has carried out the establishment of a water-saving organization to improve the efficiency of water use and the level of water conservation and utilization, and comprehensively promote the establishment of a water-saving organization.
This year, according to the requirements of the Notice on the Establishment of Water-saving Institutions jointly issued by Zhejiang Provincial Government Offices Administration, the Department of Water Resources of Zhejiang Province and the Provincial Water Conservation Office, our university has made active preparations and completed the daily management, organization and implementation and project application successively. The public announcement has been completed recently, and our university was awarded the title of "2022 Zhejiang Provincial-level Water-saving Public Institution".
From the inside out, energy-saving campus activities into water-saving institution
On campus, through online and offline means, our university actively carries out the publicity and initiative activities on the themes of water-saving and energy-saving campuses by taking Energy Conservation Publicity Week, World Water Day and China Water Week as opportunities, and holds a series of activities such as "Water and Electricity Saving" Knowledge Publicity Activity, "Water and Electricity Saving Slogan Collection & Photography and Painting Competition" to actively create a good atmosphere.
From low to high, water use efficiency has increased significantly
Shuren University has improved the efficiency of water use on campus by taking comprehensive measures of replacing with energy-saving appliances, building rainwater collection facilities and effectively using external rivers to replenish water sources, and establishing an automatic irrigation system for greenery by using river water; and meanwhile, the university actively carries out water balance tests to systematically analyze its water use and water saving potential and further strengthens the management of water conservation on campus in the future.
From "writing" to "intellectualizing", the university makes full use of the information management platform
The water and electricity monitoring platform has been used on Yangxunqiao campus, and has been constantly improved and updated. The university gives full play to the advantages of the platform, and achieves real-time dynamic monitoring of our university's water consumption, water consumption statistics, leakage and damage alarm, output of balance test reports, balance analysis and other functions to avoid unnecessary waste of water resources on campus.
