On Nov. 15, 2022 Chinese Social Governance under the Rule of Law and Modern Service Industry Development Forum with the theme of "Innovating Social Governance and Promoting People's Well-being" was held at Zhijiang Hotel in Hangzhou. The conference was co-hosted by the Commercial Law Research Society of Zhejiang Law Society, the Jurisprudence and Law History Research Society of Zhejiang Law Society and Zhejiang Modern Service Industry Research Center, and organized by the Institute of Digital Rule of Law of the Modern Service Research Institute of Zhejiang Shuren University, and co-organized by the Credit Research and Evaluation Center of Zhejiang Industry and Commerce Enterprises and the Family and Community Governance Society of Zhejiang Shuren University. The attendees of this forum included Ye Shiping, Vice President and Professor of Zhejiang Shuren University, Niu Taisheng, Director of Academic Committee of Zhejiang Law Society, Qian Hongdao, Professor and Doctoral Advisor of Guanghua Law School of Zhejiang University, Vice Chairman of the Society of Comparative Law of Chinese Law Society and President of Commercial Law Research Society of Zhejiang Law Society, Shen Junru, Professor and Doctoral Advisor of Law School of Hangzhou Normal University, Jiang Tiechu, Vice Chairman of the Jurisprudence and Law History Research Society of Zhejiang Law Society, Gong Tingtai, Counsellor of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, Professor and Doctoral Advisor of Nanjing Normal University, and representatives from various universities, law firms and enterprises inside and outside Zhejiang Province.

Director Niu Taisheng stressed the use of the rule of law to promote the development of modern service industry.

Professor Qian Hongdao highly praised that the legalization of social governance was to be discussed in this forum.

Professor Jiang Tiechu mainly elaborated the relationship between the legalization of social governance and the history of jurisprudence.

Prof. Zhu Hongying, Executive Director of Zhejiang Modern Service Industry Research Center, and Executive Director of Modern Service Research Institute of Zhejiang Shuren University, presided over the opening ceremony of this forum.

At the opening ceremony of the forum, At the opening ceremony of this meeting, Ye Shiping, Niu Taisheng, Qian Hongdao and Jiang Tiechu issued appointment letters for the first batch of 12 legal advisors from the legal service advisory groups of home service industry in Zhejiang Province.

Xia Qing, Dean of the School of Economics and Social Welfare of Zhejiang Shuren University, held the name board awarding ceremony for the industry-education integration and strategic cooperation base together with five enterprises, including Vanke Suiyuan, Everbright Yuanshu and Jinguo Xili.

In the keynote speeches, five representatives of the authors of the winning essays in this forum fully shared their views on "innovating social governance and promoting people's well-being".

The closing ceremony of the forum, namely the conclusion of the forum, was presided over by Associate Professor Guo Renhan, Director of the Institute of Digital Rule of Law of the Modern Service Research Institute of Zhejiang Shuren University.
