On the morning of April 12, a group of 8 visitors from the College of the Environment of Zhejiang University of Technology, including Chen Yu, their Secretary of the Party Committee, and the Dean Pan Xiangliang, came to the Interdisciplinary Research Academy of our university for exchanges and visit. Chen Jun, Vice President of our university, Liu Weiping, Dean of our Interdisciplinary Research Academy, and Lu Yin, Dean of the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering, and other relevant leaders attended this cooperation and exchange meeting.

At the meeting, our Vice President Chen Jun introduced the university's historical development, development orientation and education characteristics to the guests. And then, Professor Liu Weiping, Professor Pan Xiangliang and Professor Lu Yin introduced the basic situation of their schools and colleges respectively. The three parties carried out extensive exchanges on scientific research, discipline construction, talent training, large-scale instrument analysis and testing platform, and the application for master's degree programs, reached consensus and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. In the future, the two universities will further strengthen inter-university cooperation, give full play to the advantages of the College of Environment of Zhejiang University of Technology as a leader among the universities affiliated to Zhejiang province, and combine the strengths of our university's Interdisciplinary Research Academy in instrumental analysis platform to promote common development. At the same time, the College of Environment of Zhejiang University of Technology will also drive the development of our university's environmental disciplines from the aspects of talent training and scientific research, and fully support the next round of our application for master's degree program on resource and environment.
