Recently, according to the Announcement on the Selection Results of Social Training and Appraisal Organizations of Zhejiang Province, our university successfully passed the evaluation on the vocational skills appraisal of tea tasters and tea art specialists, becoming one of the first batch of provincial social training and appraisal organizations in Zhejiang Province.
On November 30th, 2021, there were totally 5 visitors, including Chen Guosong, Director of the Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center of Zhejiang Province, who led the expert group to come to our university to inspect the vocational skill appraisal of tea art specialists and tea tasters. Ye Shiping, Vice President of our university, and the leaders from the School of Continuing Education and the School of International Tea Culture and others accompanied the expert group for inspection. Chen Guosong and experts firstly listened to the reports on the preparatory work of our university's vocational skills appraisal for tea art specialists and tea tasters, and checked the examination rooms and laboratories of tea art specialists and tea tasters. On December 29th, our university participated in the specialized roadshow organized by the Vocational Skills Appraisal Center of Zhejiang Province, and introduced the process and quality monitoring plans for the occupations of tea art specialists and tea tasters in details.

After the preliminary qualification review, qualification announcement, on-site evaluation, and specialized roadshow, the expert group affirmed our university's vocational skills appraisal work, considered that our university had established special organizations for vocational skills appraisal work, set up standardized operation procedures clearly and relatively complete system construction, and had the conditions to carry out skill appraisal. In the future, our university will serve the development of tea industry based on the subject of tea culture, and vigorously carry out the training and appraisal of tea art specialists and tea tasters.
