Ge Huijun first came to the library to learn about the digital reform of ZJSRU, the search for red footprints, the "Concentric Exchange" CPPCC members' lecture hall and the construction of the library.
At Shulan International Medical College, Ge Huijun listened to the introduction of Zheng Shusen, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering andDeanof Shulan International Medical College, about the construction and operation of Shulan International Medical College, inspected the laboratory construction and teaching environment, and had a friendly conversion with academician Zheng Shusen.
In the Interdisciplinary Research Academy, Ge Huijun inspected the laboratory construction and research working environment of the Interdisciplinary Research Academy, communicated with teachers and students in depth about their work and study.
Later, Ge Huijun attended a seminar to learn more about the school's construction and development. Ge Huijun was pleased to say, "In the past three years, the school has indeed undergone welcome changes."
Ge Huijun stressed ZJSRU should aim at the goal of first-class private undergraduate universities, firmly takes the road of connotative development with quality improvement as the core, and further develops its scale and standard. We should study and think about the question "What kind of talents do we want to cultivate?", pay attention to moral education, strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics and party construction work, make the establishment of moral education as the fundamental standard to test all the work of the school. We need to study and think about the question of "In which direction should ZJSRU strive?", the construction of disciplines should show its characteristics, the talent team should be continuously strengthened, the integration of industry and education should be closely matched, and the work of improving quality and upgrading should be vigorously promoted. To study and consider the issue of "How to give full play to the unique advantages of ZJSRU", the provincial CPPCC initiated the organisation of this unique advantage to highlight the unique institutional mechanism to further stimulate the vitality of the school to run a better and more distinctive university.Targeted opinions and suggestions for the high-quality development of ZJSRU were put forward in the meeting.
President Li Lu gave a report on the work of ZJSRU under the title of "Unswervingly Following the Path of Characteristic Quality Development". He said that in the past three years, all the teachers and students of ZJSRU have taken the important remarks of the important speech on education General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered during his visit to the school in 2004, and use it as the fundamental guidelines.
