On 16th September, staff from the Bureau of Shaoxing Human Resources and Social Security came to ZJSRU to discuss employment and key industrial projects. A total of 32 students from the Student Affairs Office, counsellors responsible for recruitment in each school and representatives of Shaoxing students attended this seminar. The seminar was hosted by Zhang Weidong, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office.
In order to make Bureau of Shaoxing Human Resources and Social Security precisely match the employment and industrial needs of graduates, Zhang Weidong briefly introduced the employment situation of 2021 graduates and the general situation of graduates working in Shaoxing; Each school made an introduction on the situation of 2022 graduates one by one; ZJSRU employment centre made an explanation of the recruitment practices at ZJSRU. Zhang Weiguo from Bureau of Shaoxing Human Resources and Social Security focused on Shaoxing's "fast development and slow life", introducing the advantages of the city's industries, talent attraction policies, internship practice and Shaoxing Youth Code; and sorting out and recommending over 5,000 job positions for 237 local enterprises that wished to conduct recruitment activities at ZJSRU. The representatives of Shaoxing graduates spoke enthusiastically, putting forward many pertinent opinions and suggestions based on their study and life experiences during their school years, centred around their own employment planning and career needs, and expressed their great willingness to contribute to their hometown if suitable opportunities and positions are available.
The comrades from the Bureau of Shaoxing Human Resources and Social Security listened carefully to the speeches of the graduate representatives, answered the students’ questions patiently, and stated that they would take the initiative to provide assistance to the students in the follow-up employment recommendation and policy publicity; at the same time, they sincerely hoped that all the students sitting here could become the "volunteer ambassadors" of Shaoxing to attract talents and encourage students around them to come to Shaoxing.
