On the morning of the 8th, at invitation of the Tiantai-Luqiao management committee of Mountain and Sea Collaboration Industrial Park, Lu Guiqin and herparty came to Xinglong Village in Baihe Town, Tiantai County, to observe the situation and offer their insight. Baihe town’s mayor Xu Shijiang, industrial park management committee deputy director Xie Xingli and town and village’s leadership team, with over 10 attendees at the meeting. The two sides first had a discussion, after which they inspected Xinglong Village, the current situation of the industry and the surrounding traffic and projects under construction. The two sides exchanged views on how to enhance the quality of rural development in Xinglong Village by relying on the advantages of the location and the summer resort town, and reached preliminary cooperation agreement.

In the afternoon of the 8th, a symposium was held on the work of the 26-county Leapfrog Development Twinning Support Group in Tiantai, with the participation of the Provincial Education Department, including the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee and 13 member units of the Provincial Support Group in Tiantai, including ZJSRU. Lu Guiqin made a statement on the behalf of ZJSRU, introducing the work mechanism of ZJSRU, the main investments and achievements during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and put forward the work vision for the current round of support. During the new round of support, ZJSRU intends to carry out multi-dimensional support activities, such as scientific and technological support, talent support, consumer support and industrial support, and gradually increase its supportive efforts, striving to achieve greater results.

On the morning of the 9th, Lu Guiqin made a special trip to Sanzhou Township to send Tang Baokang, the leader of the new round of ZJSRU’s help to the village. Zhang Feng, the head of Sanzhou Township, and other team members were there to greet him. At the seminar, Lu Guiqin briefly reviewed the main work and results of ZJSRU's support to Sanzhou Township, focusing on several major events that the university is striving to accomplish this year, expressing the high importance ZJSRU attaches to helping the twinned villages and will continue to support Sanzhou Township to keep up with Tiantai's high-quality development and construction of a common wealth benchmark county. After the seminar, Lu Guiqin came to Tang Baokang's dormitory, asked about the accommodation and living situation, and sent condolences. She hoped that the cadres stationed in the village are able to endure loneliness and think of ways to achieve. She also earnestly expected Tang Baokang to show his commitment and seek innovation in the new round of helping work, so as to make the helping work deeper and more practical.
