President Li Lu was invited to attend and preside over the consultation meeting on the handling of key proposals at the fourth session of the 12th CPPCC of Zhejiang Province

On the afternoon of August 24, President Li Lu was invited to attend and preside over the consultationmeetingon the key proposals of the fourth meeting of the twelfth session of the Provincial CPPCC. The meeting was attended by Cai Xiujun -ViceChairman of the Provincial CPPCC; The Provincial CPPCC Education Science and Health Committee, The Supervising Service Members, the proposers, the Meet-up Space for Committee Members, the organisers (Health Commission of Zhejiang Province, ZhejiangEvaluation Centre for Medical Service and Administration), the meetingorganisers(Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance, Zhejiang Province Human Resources and Social Security Department, Zhejiang Administration for Market Regulation, Healthcare Security Administration of Zhejiang Province), Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and representatives from the Unity & Friendship News.

At the meeting, The Health Commission of Zhejiang Province reported on "Proposals to Strengthen the Construction and Standardised Management of the Hospital Nursing Team" and other three proposals (No. 105, 719 and 729 of the fourth session of the 12th CPPCC Provincial Committee for processing instructions and reply). Furthermore, the proposers,Supervising Service Membersand meeting units put forward many constructive opinions andsuggestions.

President Li Lu also spoke at the meeting. He argued that the root cause of the in-hospital care problem is caused by the shortage of nursing staff in hospital. As a pioneering province in building a model zone of common prosperity, the root solution to the social sore point of in-hospital care problem is to cultivate specialised talents for in-hospital care, build a nursing team that can fulfil the patients needs while hospitalised.

Cai Xiujun, Vice Chairman of the Provincial CPPCC, fully affirmed the effectiveness of the proposal. He requested that the management of hospital nursing teams be standardised through strengthening industry guidance and planning, innovative industry management models and the construction of digital platforms to effectively enhance the public's sense of access and satisfaction.
