On May 26, 2021, Zhejiang Shuren University held a video conference with The Batangas State University in Philippines to discuss cooperation between the two universities.

At the meeting, Li Lu, President of Zhejiang Shuren University, signed an inter-university friendship and cooperation agreement with Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, President of The Batangas State University.

The two sides held exchanges on education, research and cooperation in running schools, and held in-depth discussions on the co-establishment of the "China-Philippines School of Home Economics" of Zhejiang Shuren University.
