From June 7 to 8, 2025, the 4th “Xunshi Cup” National College Student Public Administration Decision-Making Simulation Competition (East China Division) was successfully held at the School of Public Administration, Hohai University. The event was guided by the Public Administration Teaching Steering Committee under the Ministry of Education, hosted by the Chinese Association of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research, co-organized by the Public Administration Committee of the Chinese Association of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research, and technically supported by Shanghai Zhexun Information Technology Co., Ltd. A total of 47 teams from 46 universities across Jiangsu, Anhui, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Shandong participated in this competition.
The “Best of Shu Team,” composed of Cheng Yanjia, Zeng Yuxuan, and Luo Xue from Class 231 of the Public Affairs Management Program of the School of Public Affairs, won the Second Prize in the competition. Under the guidance of Dr. Meng Ying, Associate Director of the Department of Public Administration, and Dr. Yang Dan, full-time faculty member, the team stood out through outstanding performance in both the case evaluation and practical simulation rounds. Both instructors were awarded the title of “Outstanding Instructor.”
This award fully demonstrates the solid professional knowledge, outstanding practical skills, and strong team spirit of students from the School of Public Affairs. Seizing this competition as an opportunity, the Public Affairs Management Program will further enhance its distinctive approach of integrating theory with practice, deepen teaching reform, build scenario-based experimental platforms, and improve the practical teaching system, with the aim of cultivating high-quality public administration talents for the new era.
