Zhejiang Shuren University and Bureau of Shizuoka Fukui Affairs Cooperated to Hold China-Japan Exchange Activity on Training Talents of Old-age Support 2021

China-Japan Exchange Activity on Training Talents of Old-age Support of 2021 was held in Landison Plaza International Hotel Zhejiang in the afternoon of December 22. The activity was jointly held by our university and the Bureau of Shizuoka Fukui Affairs of the General Office of Zhejiang Provincial Government, and was co-organized by Japan J&C Corporation and J & C Group, Hangzhou. The activity was conducted through both online and offline. Chinese and Japanese experts and scholars conducted discussion and exchange around topics related to fields such as China-Japan education in medical treatment and health care. 50 Chinese and Japanese honored guests such as Li Lu, the president, Chen Xinmin, Vice-president, Chen Zhi, the executive deputy-director of the Academic Board, Otsuka Hirofumi, the chairman of Japan J&C Corporation and J&C Group, Hangzhou, Lan Jingjing, chief of Division of International Cooperation and Exchange of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, Jin Guoqing, the Director General of the Bureau of Shizuoka Fukui Affairs of the General Office of Zhejiang Provincial Government, Tian Lijun, Deputy Director of Division of Elderly Services of Zhejiang Provincial Civil Affairs Department, Xu Xiaowei, Chairman of Enjoy Town (Enjoy Town Future Community), as well as honored guests from Fukuoka International University of Medical Welfare, Himeji Unikyo University, Okayama School of Information and Business, Alwa Gakuen in Japan and Hiroyama International Hospital. The exchange activity was held by Wang Yun, chief of Division of International Exchange.



As pointed by President Li Lu at the conference, the aging population in China has entered into a rapid development stage, and it is the common concern for Chinese governments and the public to cultivate talents of medical treatment and care with good quality, reasonable structure and sufficient quantity. As a country that was relatively early to enter into the aging society all over the whole world, Japan has equivalent successful cases and mature mechanisms on aspects of endowment policies, endowment service standard, endowment talent cultivation and endowment operation mode, which can be taken as references for our country. The exchange and discussion with Chinese and Japanese experts in fields of medical treatment and care education as well as health care field will make our university have new ideas, new paths and new breakthroughs in fields of medical treatment and care talent cultivation, industry policy research as well as leading technologies and products research and development, so as to promote joint development between China and Japan in medical treatment and care industries, to benefit mankind.

As pointed by Jin Guoqing, the director general of the Bureau of Shizuoka Fukui Affairs of the General Office of Zhejiang Provincial Government, in his speech, Japan achieves mature development in endowment services, with abundant experience and technologies in endowment services and nursing as well as complete systems and mechanisms in related talent cultivation. Zhejiang Province is gradually entering into an aging society, and it is more and more important to formulate policies and measures related to aging based on endowment and nursing and to cultivate talents of endowment and nursing. Both China and Japan have huge potential in endowment and nursing talent cultivation. As a specialized university that was early to develop specialized construction and talent cultivation in fields such as housekeeping, nursing and endowment in Zhejiang, Zhejiang Shuren University wishes that the specialized talents in China and Japan attending the conference can conduct in-depth discussion around the theme of China and Japan medical treatment and care talents cultivation, to plan for cooperation between both parties.

Otsuka Hirofumi, the chairman of Japan J&C Corporation and J&C Group, Hangzhou, introduced cooperation and exchange between China and Japan in information technology field.

Two Japanese experts were invited to the conference to make speeches, including Professor Maruyama Ninji, vice-president of Fukuoka International University of Medical Welfare, and Professor Huo Ming from Medical Care College of Himeji Unikyo University. Professor Maruyama Ninji introduced types of occupations of Japan medical care in Japan, as well as current situations of overseas students and academic exchanges. Professor Huo Ming introduced the new medical treatment and care mode in Japan. Chen Weizhe, executive dean of Shulan International Medical College of our university introduced the Nursing Specialty of Shulan International Medical College at the conference, and discussed on the possibility in cooperative operation between China and Japan. At the same time, he raised some questions about endowment and nursing in Japan. Zhu Hongying, the executive dean of Modern Service Research Institute, introduced the development history, the talent cultivation positioning and the achievements in discipline construction, to explore new ideas and mechanisms of integration of production and education as well as integration of production and learning. In the free exchange process, Namba Yoshiko, head of International Promotion Division of Okayama School of Information and Business, Seongsan Longi, president of Fukuoka Shiroyama International Hospital, Yoneda Masashi, head of Collection Division of Alwa Academy, and Xiao Yanyan, general manager of Hangzhou Guangyu Ano Industrial Co., Ltd. made speeches at the conference.

Vice-President Chen Xinmin made the concluding remark at the end of the conference. As pointed by Chen Xinmin, Japanese exploration of the combination of medical treatment and care mode has demonstrative significance, and Zhejiang Shuren University has good foundation on cultivation of medical treatment and care talents, and cooperation in cultivation of related talents between both parties has strategic significance and development prospect. It is the hot topic to cultivate medical treatment and care talents with high quality, reasonable structure and sufficient quantity, so as to cope with population aging in China and all over the whole world, which is the target for colleges, universities, scientific research institutions, enterprises and nursing institutions for Asian countries. The Chinese and Japanese medical treatment and care talent cultivation exchange is an important channel to promote cultivation of related talents and establish cooperation platforms. It is believed that both countries will integrate resources of medical treatment and care colleges and universities, production-education integrated enterprises and nursing institutions for the aged in Asia based on the Zhejiang-Asian Countries Collaborative Platform for Training Talents of Old-age Support, to develop exchange and cooperation with multiple types, carriers and channels, so as to create a new situation of cooperation, mutual benefits and joint development of medical treatment and care talents in Asian countries.


The exchange activity achieved complete success with supports from multiple parties, and was highly praised by all participants.
