Recently, the Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center for College Graduates of Zhejiang Province announced the results of the selection of exemplary cases among college graduates in employment and entrepreneurship in 2025. Wang Rui, a 2019 graduate recommended by the School Haomo of our university, was successfully selected as a “Typical Figure in Employment and Entrepreneurship”, fully demonstrating the outstanding demeanor and commitment of graduates of our university.

Wang Rui graduated from the program of Urban and Rural Planning in the School of Urban Construction. During his time at the university, he actively participated in various practical activities and volunteer services, holding positions such as class monitor and head of the Practice Department of the school, showcasing exceptional organizational and coordination skills, and a spirit of dedication. After graduation, Wang Rui actively responded to Zhejiang Province’s “College Student Volunteer Service Program for Mountainous, Island, and Remote Areas”, working diligently at the grassroots level and contributing his youthful energy to local development.

According to statistics, our university has sent over 60 outstanding graduates for the “College Volunteers to the West Program” in recent years, and Wang Rui stands as one of its exemplary representatives. In his work, he has kept in mind his “original aspirations and mission” and upheld the “Shuren Spirit”, integrating his personal ideals into the great journey of national development and rejuvenation. He has devoted his youth wholeheartedly to the places where the motherland needs it most. His deeds are not only a powerful testament to the value of striving but also an inspiring example for all Shuren students.
