Good News: Students from the School of Information Science and Technology Won National First Prize Again in the National Intelligent Car Competition for College Students

From December 26 to 29, the National Finals of the 20th National Intelligent Car Competition for College Students (Outdoor Session) were held at Shandong Vocational and Technical University of Engineering. A team composed of five students, including Chen Kaidong and Chen Feiyang from the School of Information Science and Technology at our university, competed in the category of ROS Unmanned Vehicle (Higher Education Group). Having advanced to the finals with a first prize in the regional competition, the team ultimately secured a national first prize through solid professional expertise and outstanding teamwork, demonstrating the university's research capabilities and talent cultivation achievements in the field of artificial intelligence.

The National Intelligent Car Competition for College Students is a high-level intelligent control contest in China, ranked among the 19 most prestigious discipline competitions for universities. Having been held for 20 sessions, it has attracted over 650,000 participants. This achievement is the result of the joint efforts of faculty and students, and also reflects the university’s educational philosophy of “competition-driven learning and innovation”.
