During the national finals of the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (2025) held at Zhengzhou University from October 12 to 15, our university’s participating teams achieved a historic record with an outstanding performance of one gold medal, two silver medals, and one bronze medal, as well as one merit award.This marks that our university has not only secured a national gold medal in the main track for higher education for two consecutive years, but also achieved a new breakthrough in national-level awards for programs led by current students.

Up to now, our university has accumulated a total of two national gold medals, five silver medals, four bronze medals, and three merit awards in this competition. All award-winning program leaders and core members are students of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Experimental Class (Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Class), which fully validates the success of the training model of “integration of specialization and innovation, interconnection of critical thinking and creativity, and synergy between science and innovation”. This also demonstrates the sense of mission and responsibility of Shuren students to serve national strategic goals.
