“Shulan International Medical College of Zhejiang Shuren University” was established in Gongchenqiao Campus in the morning of May 18, 2019, and Zheng Shusen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, worked as the dean of the medical college. At the same time, Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital became an affiliated hospital to Shulan International Medical College.

The ceremony was held by Zhang Qing, secretary of the Party committee of the university.

Chen Zhu, vice-chairman of Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, launched a video talk to congratulate to the establishment of Shulan International Medical College. He wished that the establishment of Shulan International Medical College of Zhejiang Shuren University would form a driving effect, to promote medical talent cultivation as one of important fields to “cultivate all talents with social fortune”, so as the medical technology in our country can be listed top in the world, to greatly improve the health standard of people in our country.

We are determined to build a medical college with domestic top standard of international level.” The speech given by Academician Zheng Shusen, dean of the medical college, drew a blueprint for Shulan International Medical College, which was not only the dream of Academician Zheng Shusen, but also the dream and pursuit of all teachers and students of Zhejiang Shuren University.
