Wang Zhangquan (1969.07-): from Zhuji, Zhejiang Province; Professor and Master of Power Electronics and Power Transmission from the College of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University; a third-level cultivated talent of the "New Century 151 Talents Project" in Zhejiang Province; part-time Master's tutor at Changzhou University; head of "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan Construction of Zhejiang Provinces Top Tier Discipline, head of Intelligent Information Processing Direction in the discipline of Information and Communication Engineering, Head of The Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centre of Information and Electronic Engineering in Zhejiang Province, and an excellent Young to Middle-Aged Backbone Teacher at ZJSRU.

Scientific Research

His main research interests include Intelligent Sensing and Information Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks and Intelligent Control Technology and its applications. He has presided over or participated in more than ten projects at provincial level, such as The National Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhejiang Province Key Research and Development Program, Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Program, Zhejiang Province Natural Science Foundation, etc. He has presided over or participated in more than twenty horizontal projects, with over RMB 3 million as scientific research funds; he has published over 30 academic papers in Telecommunication Science, Chinese Journal of Sensors and Actuators, etc., including over 20 papers in first-class journals or EI and SCI indexed papers domestically, as well as obtaining 5 national invention patents.

Teaching and Research

He has been engaged in the education field of electronics and information for over 20 years, mainly undertaking the construction and teaching tasks of courses such as "Analog Electronics Technology", "Power Electronics Technology" and "Sensor Technology and its Application". He has won many awards for his excellent teaching, including: Outstanding Teacher of ZJSRU, Outstanding Young Lecturer of ZJSRU, Young and Middle-Aged Backbone Teacher of ZJSRU, New Talent of the Teaching World of the University, Excellent Class Teacher of the University among others. He is actively involved in the reformation and innovation of education and is committed to the cultivation of applied talents. He has presided over and participated in two New Century Provincial Teaching Reformation projects and over ten teaching and research projects at provincial and university levels; he has presided over the construction of the Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centre and a number of provincial financial support laboratory construction projects; he won the second prize for teaching achievements at university level; he has guided students to participate in scientific research and discipline competitions, empowering them to win a number of projects under the provincial university students' innovation programme and win second and third prize in national and provincial university students' electronic design competitions.
