On October 21, 2025, Jiang Jiahao, a technical expert from Unitree Robotics, delivered a special lecture themed “The Rise and Future of AI: From AIGC to Embodied AI” to the faculty and students of Zhejiang Shuren University. The lecture provided an accessible yet profound insight into the technological evolution of AI, from content generation to interaction with the physical world.

Using the “diffusion model” as an example, Jiang vividly explained how AIGC technology constructs intelligence from chaos to order through a “denoising” process. He emphasized that the advancement of AIGC relies on two key pillars, i.e. “big data” and “large models”, and cited representative domestic and international applications such as ChatGPT, Sora, and Tongyi Qianwen to demonstrate how AI is reshaping the content creation landscape.

The highlight of the lecture was a live demonstration of Unitree’s star product, the intelligent robot “Benben”. Equipped with advanced AI algorithms, this robotic dog not only executed interactive commands like waving and sitting but also won enthusiastic applause from the audience with lifelike actions such as “backflips on the spot” and “making a heart gesture”. Its “stair-climbing” demonstration was particularly impressive, showcasing the robot’s exceptional adaptability in complex terrains through real-time environmental sensing and autonomous decision-making.

This lecture not only allowed faculty and students to personally grasp the development sequence of AI technology but also conveyed an important message: AI has become a crucial tool for enhancing creativity, and the younger generation should actively embrace technological changes to seize the limitless opportunities of the intelligent era.
