The Online Meeting on Cooperation Held by Our School of Humanity & Foreign Languages of our University and the Department of International Exchange of the Polotsk State University of Belarus

On the afternoon of April 11, 2024, the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages of our university and the Department of International Exchange of the Polotsk State University in Belarus had an on-line meeting on carrying out cooperation and exchange and other work.

The attendees of this meeting included Li Jianliang, Dean of the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages, Wu Ronglan, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Wang Xianju, Director of the Belarusian Research Center of our university, and two teachers of this Center, as well as Olga Viktorovna, Director of the Department of International Exchange of the Polotsk State University, and Olga Sergeyevna, Secretary of the Department of International Exchange of the Polotsk State University.

At the meeting, both parties had an in-depth discussion on mutual exchange of students, linguistic and cultural research and study, and study tours in summer and winter according to the cooperation agreement (2022) signed between Zhejiang Shuren University and the Polotsk State University in Belarus, and reached the preliminary agreement of cooperation accordingly. In addition, in terms of scientific research cooperation, both parties also expressed their willingness to exchange information on academic conferences, invite each other’s leaders and experts to participate in and jointly apply for the approval of research programs to deepen cooperation and exchange.
