Li Jianliang, dean of School of Humanity and Foreign Languages, led teachers such as Xu Yaqin from the Ministry-University Joint Development Office and Chang Yuan from Journalism Department to Zhejiang Daily, to hold the meeting for promotion of Ministry-University joint development work. Pang Cheng, president of Zhejiang Daily Media Research Institute, He Yiqi from Human Resource Department and Gan Yi from Media Research Institute attended the meeting.

Pang Cheng sufficiently affirmed the importance and the necessity of jointly constructing the Journalism Specialty together with Zhejiang Shuren University. He wished that the Journalism Specialty of Zhejiang Shuren University would further follow the new ideas, methods and requirements of the media integrated era, to lay a good foundation for cultivation of high-quality journalism talents.

Li Jianliang showed his thanks to vigorous support from Zhejiang Daily for construction of Journalism Specialty of Zhejiang Shuren University. In addition, he reported achievements made by the university on aspects of discipline development and teacher team construction since the start of the Ministry-University joint development work.
