“Huashen Cup” the 19thContest of Structural Design of College Students and National Contest of Structural Design of College Students were held in Jiaojiang Campus of Taizhou University during May 7-9, 2021.
Totally nearly 500 teachers and students of 100 teams from 48 universities and colleges participated in the contest. With the leading of Professor Jin Xiaoqun, the executive vice-president of the Institute of Urban Construction, two teams of our university won two prizes among the eight one, continuing the glory. The students showed our style and standard with calm psychological quality and excellent professional skills by overcoming difficulties such as delay due to the epidemic conditions and two campuses in one university!
The Institute of Urban Construction has won the first prize of Zhejiang Contest of Structural Design of College Students and Zhejiang Zone Contest of National Contest of Structural Design of College Students up until now. In which the institute won two first prizes and was selected into the national contest and won one second prize in 2017. It was selected into the national contest with the score of the first prize (special prize) of the provincial zone contest and won the first prize of the national contest (ranked the 10thplace in the whole country) in 2018. It was selected into the national contest with as the second prize of the provincial zone contest and won the first prize again as the 6thplace in the whole country in 2019. In the “Huashen Cup” Zhejiang the 19thContest of Structural Design of College Students, it won two first prizes again.
