On the morning of April 23, President Li Lu met with Mr. Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and Mr. LEE Kwok-bun, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology Commission, who were visiting Zhejiang.

Mr. Sun Dong expressed his hope to actively promote collaboration between research teams in Hong Kong and Zhejiang by establishing joint laboratories, setting up cross-border incubation platforms, and offering policy support and resource coordination, thereby fostering collaborative innovation.

President Li Lu introduced the university’s overall development, its long-standing ties with Hong Kong and Macao, and the recent close exchanges between the two sides.

Both parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation in talent cultivation and academic research, aiming to break down barriers to the flow of scientific research resources and to build an open and innovative ecosystem.
