Our Students Majoring in Japanese Won a National Silver Award and a Provincial Gold Award in the 2024 “FLTRP•ETIC Cup” National College Students Foreign Language Proficiency Contest themed on “Understanding Contemporary China”

Recently, the national finals of the multilingual group of the 2024 “FLTRP•ETIC Cup” National College Students Foreign Language Proficiency Contest themed on “Understanding Contemporary China”, the highest-level contest for college students majoring in foreign languages in China, successfully concluded at Beijing Foreign Studies University.

After intense competition, Liu Qishu, a student from the Japanese major of the School of Humanity and Foreign Languages, Grade 2021 (Tutored by: Jiang Meihua, Yan Mizhi, and Jin Meilin), stood out through the university, provincial, and national rounds, and won the Silver Award in the national multilingual group (Japanese) and the Gold Award in the provincial multilingual group (Japanese). This achievement marks a historic breakthrough made by the students majoring in Japanese from our university in this academic contest, achieving the first Silver Award at the national level and writing a new chapter in the history of Shuren University!
