President Li Lu Attended the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen)

At the invitation of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), President Li Lu visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) to attend its 10th anniversary ceremony from March 22nd to 23rd. Yang Lidiao, Director of the Office of the University’s Anniversary Celebration, Executive Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Party Committee, and Deputy Director of the Office of the Party Committee and the President’s Office of our university, accompanied President Li to attend the event.

Mr. Li Xuejin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Associate Vice President of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), and Mr. Chen Heng, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of this university, received President Li Lu and other visitors. On behalf of all the faculty and students of our university, President Li Lu extended his best wishes to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) for its 10th anniversary. He also met with colleagues from the Liaison Office of the Central Government in Hong Kong to recall their friendship and report on the development of our university.

At the 10th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony, Han Qide, former Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Honorary Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the event and delivered a speech. Mr. Lee Ka Chiu, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, delivered a video speech, and Qin Weizhong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shenzhen, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

During the anniversary celebration, the 10th Anniversary Development Forums of “Jointly Building an International Higher Education Hub” and “Independently Training International Innovative Talents” were held.
