Arts and crafts are closely related to people's material and spiritual life, and the disciplines that focus on learning the classical crafts and design language, the inheritance of traditional culture and the creation of craftsmanship.
The exhibition, with the theme of "At the Beginning of the Future, Keep the Original Intention in Mind", was held from May 15th to 18th. The exhibits showed the characteristics of the major of arts and crafts exactly. And the exhibitors used various craft materials to independently create their works of lacquer painting, ceramic painting, tie-dyeing, costume design, sculpture creation, handicraft modeling, painting with exact delineation and enriched colors, and oil paintings through combining the traditional theories and practices of handicraft art with corresponding technique of expression according to the properties and compositions of various art and craft materials. They integrated two-dimensional and three-dimensional techniques of expression together, to convey beauty and hope through design.

In the future, the faculty members of the major of arts and crafts of the School of Arts will continue to integrate the professional knowledge into the social culture, and be committed to training application-oriented design talents who are "creative, capable of design, skilled in craft and good at production", in order to provide more and better works to serve the people's high-quality life.
