In the morning of March 14, President Li Lu led a visiting group to visit Hong Kong Metropolitan University, where President Lam Kwan-sing and Vice President Reggie Kwan received the visiting group.

 

President Lam Kwan-sing introduced the development history of Hong Kong Metropolitan University, focusing on the training of nursing talents. The number of graduates majoring in nursing science of the School of Nursing and Health Studies is the largest in Hong Kong each year. And the School is committed to being a pioneer in providing flexible nursing and health care education. In addition to nursing science, the key research fields of this university in recent years also include digital humanities and literature, transparency and social policies, international business, responsible business, gerontic technology, environmental science, smart city, openness and innovative education. He also said that he would actively carry out the cooperation with Zhejiang Shuren University.

President Li Lu introduced the development history, current situation, and future key development strategies of our university. He gave a detailed introduction on the construction of the major of nursing science and the integrated development of medical treatment, health care, nursing, and management in our university, and hoped that both universities would speed up cooperation on the training of the undergraduates and postgraduates of nursing science, and work together to explore a new training mode for the talents of nursing science.

Both parties further discussed the cooperation on the program of upgrading undergraduates to postgraduates and the nursing and health programs, and reached a consensus on the establishment of inter-university cooperation.

Accompanied by President Lam Kwan-sing, President Li Lu and other visitors also visited the laboratories of the School of Nursing and Health Studies of this university.
