At the beginning of the new year, the launch meeting for the project "Research on the Monitoring Intervention Technique and its Application in the Sleep Disorders of Senile Patients" (Project No.: 2023C03161), which is, one of the projects in the "Pioneer" and "Leading Goose" Research and Development Plan of Zhejiang Province, was successfully held on January 29th, 2023 in Conference Room 412, Administration Building, Gongchenqiao Campus, Zhejiang Shuren University. A total of 17 leaders and guests attended the meeting, including Prof. Li Lu, President of our university, Prof. Ye Shiping, our Vice President, Prof. Chen Zhi, Executive Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of our university, and Prof. Lu Yin, Dean of the School of Biology and Environmental Engineering, Jiang Minmin, Deputy Dean of Shulan International Medical College, Wang Qunlong, Deputy Dean of Modern Service Research Institute, Prof. Liu Banteng of the School of Information Science and Technology, and the leaders of the Office of Scientific Research and Social Cooperation of our university, as well as Chang Zhaowei, General Manager of Hangzhou Sleepon Technology Co., Ltd., Director Pan Jiongwei of Lishui People's Hospital, Director Wang Lijun of Hangzhou Special Service Nursing Center of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force.
The implementation period of the project "Research on the Monitoring Intervention Technique and its Application in the Sleep Disorders of Senile Patients" is from 2023 to 2025. The project leader is Professor Li Lu, and the research and development team is composed of Zhejiang Shuren University, Hangzhou Sleepon Technology Co., Ltd., Lishui People's Hospital and Hangzhou Special Service Nursing Center of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force for the project implementation. And the team intends to develop a simple and easy-to-use screening tool and instrument to assist the senile patients with sleep disorders in early diagnosis, improve the early diagnosis rate of sleep disorders, increase the accuracy and timeliness of diagnosis, provide a diagnostic basis and treatment foundation for subsequent intervention and treatment, improve the curative effect, reduce the complications of chronic diseases caused by sleep disorders, improve the health and quality of life of the elderly, and contribute to building a harmonious society and a healthy China.
