On November 15, 2022, President Li Lu led relevant members from the University's the Office of Party Committee, the Office of Human Resources, the Office of Research and Social Cooperation, Modern Service Research Institute, the School of Economics and Social Welfare, and Interdisciplinary Research Academy to Jingning She Autonomous County to attend the "Talents Gathering in the She Nationality’s Town" Jingning Talent Science and Technology Week. Weng Zhihong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jingning County, Lan Jingfen, Governor of Jingning County, and some leaders of relevant departments expressed a warm welcome to President Li and other attendees, and communicated with them on the activities of Talent Science and Technology Week and on strengthening the cooperation between the university and the local government.

On the morning of November 16, the opening ceremony of the "Talents Gathering in the She Nationality’s Town" Jingning Talent Science and Technology Week was held officially. The attendees included Wu Jiong, Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, Liu Tuo, Vice President of the China Forestry Industry Federation and Chairman of the Forest Therapy Branch, and Li Lu, President of Zhejiang Shuren University, and other experts. At the opening ceremony, Weng Zhihong, Secretary of the County Party Committee, delivered a speech, and Lan Jingfen, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Governor, presided over the ceremony. Principal Li Lu delivered a speech at the meeting and was appointed as an expert of the "Think Tank of She Nationality’s Town" in Jingning She Autonomous County.

Li Lu said in the speech that he deeply felt the Party Committee and the Government of Jingning County were longing for talents and paid high attention to science and technology, implemented the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" by centering on the transformation of ecological value, attracted high-level talents at home and abroad to help the development of Jingning County, to explore a development road of common prosperity based on the national characteristics of ecological advantages. Zhejiang Shuren University will fully support and wholeheartedly cooperate with local government and enterprises of Jingning through Yuhai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute, support the development of health care industry of Jingning County, and contribute Shuren's wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of Jingning's lucid waters and lush mountains becoming invaluable assets. Li Lu also made a keynote speech entitled Actively Coping with Population Aging at the subsequent Summit Forum on the Development of Smart Health Care Industry. He introduced in detail the aging of the full life cycle, the practice of Zhejiang on actively coping with population aging and the model of community health care for healthy aging.
