In order to further promote university-government-enterprise cooperation, deepen the integrated development of industry and education, help the coordinated development of mountainous areas and oceanic islands in Zhejiang, and contribute to the high-quality development and construction of a common prosperity demonstration zone in Zhejiang Province, on July 12th, our President Li Lu, Vice President Tong Guoyao, and Vice President Chen Xinmin led a team to Jingning She Autonomous County in Lishui City for research, and carried out university-local government and university-enterprise cooperation and exchanges. Weng Zhihong, Secretary of the County Party Committee of Jingning She Autonomous County, Lan Jingfen, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Head of the People's Government of this County, Xia Xuesong, Member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Deputy County Head, together with the leaders of relevant departments and Dong Lingyu, President of Yuhai Preschool Education, had a meeting with the team.
During this visit, both parties signed the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement and held the university-local government cooperation meeting. They communicated with each other by focusing on deepening the operation mechanism, the integration of industry, education and research, talent training, and the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements in the cooperation between university and local government, with the view to promoting the establishment of typical demonstration of common prosperity, and seeking to achieve a new progress of cooperation and development.
At the meeting, Li Lu, on behalf of the university, thanked Jingning County Government for its great attention and strong support. He introduced in detail the history, development and characteristics, talent training, social services and other advantages of our university, and said that the strategic cooperation with Jingning County was a new starting point of university-local government cooperation, the strong support of the university's "quality improvement and upgrading" and the central work of making great efforts to apply for the master’s degree program, but also the practical implementation of industry, education and research under the call of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and the Government of Zhejiang Province of "common prosperity first and provincial modernization first". He stressed that he hoped both parties to further deepen cooperation and achieve good results of complementing each other's advantages and seeking common development.
Lan Jingfen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of Jingning County, said that this meeting marked a big step forward in the cooperation between the university and Jingning County. Zhejiang Shuren University has always attached great importance to the development of the integration of industry and education. Through cooperation between the university and Jingning County, the talents and discipline advantages of Shuren University will be introduced to Jingning much better, and thus Jingning will have a strong driving force to speed up the transformation of science and technology and cultivate emerging industries. She pointed out that both parties had many exchanges and established good relations before. The university and Yuhai Preschool Education also reached a strategic consensus to build the Yuhai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Institute. She also hoped that, on this basis, Yuhai would accelerate the construction of Shuren Experts’ Building and related projects, strengthen the research and development of the teachers and students of Shuren University during the practical training in the industrial park, and give full play to the supporting role of science and technology of the base in the future.
In the afternoon, President Li Lu and other visitors went to the Wooden Toys Industrial Park of Yuhai Preschool Education to attend the university-enterprise exchange meeting. At the meeting, both parties further discussed the promotion of graduate employment, student internship, industry-education, and integration, etc. Both parties also held the name board awarding ceremony for Zhejiang Shuren University to set up the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base in Jingning Yuhai Preschool Education Equipment Co., Ltd.
After the meeting, the attendees visited the Wooden Toys Industrial Park of Yuhai Preschool Education. Li Lu inquired in detail about the company's production, operation, and product mix, listened to the future development plan of this alumni company, and spoke highly of their social responsibility during the epidemic.
