President Li Lu Led a Team to Lishui City to Discuss University-Local Government Cooperation

On the afternoon of July 13th, a team from Zhejiang Shuren University went to Lishui City to discuss university and local government cooperation and participated in a discussion. The Science and Technology Bureau of Lishui City, the Organization Department of the CPC Lishui Municipal Committee, and the Talents Office of the CPC Lishui Municipal Committee and relevant departments and some company leaders attended this meeting.

At the meeting, President Li Lu introduced the development of the university in recent years from the aspects of university construction, discipline advantages and strategic planning, and emphasized the great significance of jointly building the Research Institute with Lishui City. He pointed out that the co-construction of the Research Institute signified the establishment of the university-local government cooperation platform, and was also a strategic choice to seize the greatest advantages of Lishui, where owned lucid waters and lush mountains and was a hometown of longevity. He also hoped that both parties continued to expand the scope of cooperation, enhance the friendship between the university and local government, and achieve win-win development.

Weng Weirong, Director of the Science and Technology Bureau introduced the natural resources and industrial development of Lishui, and said that university-local government cooperation should be regarded as an important part of high-quality development, and the cooperation between both parties would be continuously consolidated and deepened.

Liu Weiping, Dean of the Interdisciplinary Research Academy, gave a specific explanation on the basic situation, scientific research and social of the Interdisciplinary Research Academy. Wang Qunlong, Deputy Dean of the Modern Service Research Institute, introduced the Institute's research on health care.

During the discussion, attendees from Lishui Science and Technology Bureau, Lishui Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Health Commission of Lishui City, Lishui Association for Science and Technology, Lishui Central Hospital, Lishui Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, the Organization Department of the CPC Lishui Municipal Committee, Lishui Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, Lishui City Development and Reform Commission, Lishui Office of Attracting Investment and Talents, Lishui Bureau of Civil Affairs, and Welcome Pharmaceutical Company actively put forward suggestions on the specific implementation of university-local government cooperation.

In the afternoon, the team of our university visited the Exhibition Center of Lishui Development Zone, Zhejiang Shaangu Energy Development Co., Ltd., Lishui Central Hospital and provincial key laboratory and many other places for research.
