In order to expand and strengthen the industrial design self-examination major of ZJSRU, on March 11th, ZJSRU held asigning and licensing ceremonybetweenthe industrial design of undergraduate self-educated talents training cooperation base,Jinhua Technical College and Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Technician College respectively. Ye Shiping-VicePresident of ZJSRS, membersof the leadership team and undergraduate self-educated officeatthe School of Continuing Education, members of the leading team of the two technician colleges, andTheDean of the second-level departments attended the signing ceremony.
Vice President Ye Shiping issued licenses to Jinhua Technical College and Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Technician College on behalf of ZJSRU,awardinghonorarycertificates to outstanding undergraduate self-educated students.
Later on, ZJSRUexchanged cooperativediscussions with the leaders of two technician colleges. During the negotiations, both sides expressed their visions of promoting the industrial design undergraduate self-educationbrand, and exchanged and discussed how to strengthen teaching management, improve the pass rate of the undergraduate self-educated exams, and gain more publicity. The technician colleges has given a high evaluation to the main examination major of industrial design in ZJSRU. It believes that the undergraduate industrial designmajorsarestronglyadaptablewithallmajorsattechnician colleges, which is conducive to upgrading thestudents of technician college’s academic qualifications, hopingto expand cooperation and provide diversified choices for the academic upgradingpurposesof studentsundertakingdifferent majors.
In addition to undergraduate self-educationcooperation, our school hopes to expand cooperation with two provincial technician colleges in vocational skill training, industryand teaching research.
Jinhua Technician College (Jinhua Senior Technical School) was founded in May 1979. It is a national key technician college, a national secondary vocational education reform and development demonstration school, a national demonstration vocational skills appraisal institute, and a famous secondary vocational school in Zhejiang Province. It is a full-time public school that mainly cultivates high-skilled talents and integrates academic education, vocational training, skills appraisal, employment guidance, etc.
Zhejiang Mechanical and Electrical Technician College is a public technician college under the Provincial Electrome chanical Group, which mainly cultivates high-skilled talents. Located in the core area of Yiwu International Trade City- a. Adhering to the school-teaching philosophy of "high-end leadership, school-enterprise integration, diversified school running and connotation development"-, the college has created a moral education brand of "human based education" and a professional brand of "skills teaching". It has "two schools and four departments":- the School of Information Optoelectronics, the School of E-commerce, the Department of Modern Manufacturing, the Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Applied Design, and the Department of Finance, Economics and Business. The college has 12 provincial demonstrations, brands and emerging majors.
Through this on-site exchange, it is found that our undergraduate self-educated industrial design major has very obvious advantages and great potential in the future academic upgrading market. At the beginning of this semester, the staff of ZJSRU’s undergraduate self-educated office have gone to various cooperative colleges and universities to carry out on-site pre-examination counselling and teaching training.
