Recently, our university held the interviews and selection of volunteers for the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games and Asian Para Games at Yangxunqiao Campus and Gongchenqiao Campus respectively. Since the Asian Games Organizing Committee started the registration of volunteer activities, our university has attracted more than 2,550 students to sign up through online and offline mobilization and publicity. After pre-qualification review, 986 students entered this round of interviews. Interviewers composed of the counselors and foreign language teachers of Shuren University, the members of the Asian Games Organizing Committee, and staff of the Asian Games venues comprehensively tested the familiarity on sport events, comprehensive ability, language expression, foreign language communication ability, etiquette and personal appearance, and volunteer service experience of the registered students, and selected excellent volunteers for Rock Climbing Gym of the Asian Games Shaoxing Yangshan Park, Hangzhou National Fitness Center and other venues. The interview work for volunteers has attracted the attention of the General Administration of Sport of China, Zhejiang News, Zhejiang Online, Titan Sports, Keqiao Daily, Shaoxing Daily and many other media, which all published related publicity reports.
