On March 1st, the Leading Group Office for Building the Safe Zhejiang, the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, and the Public Security Department of Zhejiang Province announced the results of the 2021 safe campus grade estimation and evaluation for colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province. The review result of the level of safe campus assessment of our university was 4A, which achieved an "accelerated" leap from 2A to 4A.

Since the start of the establishment of the safe campus, under the correct leadership of the university’s party organizations, our university has focused on top-level design, strengthened organizational leadership, and established a leading group for the construction of safe campuses, printed and issued the Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Construction of the Safe Campus of Zhejiang Shuren University, set goals, decomposed tasks and clarified progress nodes based on the bench-marking task tables, and held mobilization meetings, promotion meetings and deployment meetings on evaluation work for many times. The whole university united together from superior to subordinate, from teachers and students, to promote the safe campus evaluation work orderly and efficiently.

According to the progress requirements, all departments and schools of our university found out where one has lagged behind and made up for shortcomings, cooperated with each other to implement and promote rectification, and constantly optimized long-term mechanisms such as ideological dynamic research and judgment, hidden danger investigation and rectification, assistance to key groups and information reporting, and improved work plans, strengthened emergency drills, enhanced the cooperation between university and police, innovated safety education carriers, striven for the positive deviation of various evaluation indicators, and ensured to carry out the evaluation work smoothly.

On the eve of the evaluation, the university specially invited off-campus experts to check the preparation work for the safe campus assessment specially, and made further improvements according to experts' suggestions. On December 1st, 2021, the Expert Group of Safe Campus Construction Evaluation Work of Zhejiang Province entered the university for inspection. Through listening to reports, completing on-site inspections and questionnaire surveys, and checking simulation exorcise of emergency response treatment and daily records, the group inspected the construction of safe campus of our university comprehensively, fully affirmed the achievements of our university's safe campus construction, and gave high praise to the management mode of the classical academy system of the Yangxunqiao Campus.

Next, our university will sum up experiences based on the evaluation results and feedback, implement the rectification measures for problems, and eliminate potential safety hazards, strengthen the long-term mechanism, consolidate the evaluation achievements, and promote the work of safe campus construction to a new level, so as to provide a strong guarantee for the reform and development and the application of Master's degree program of our university, improve our university’s quality and upgradation, realize the goal of “famous non-government university”, and welcome the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party with excellent achievements.
