Recently, the Office of Education Sciences Planning of Zhejiang Province published the evaluation results of the 2020 Outstanding Achievement Awards in Educational Science Research of Zhejiang Province. Professor Jin Jinbiao and Gao Fei of our university won the first and second prizes of the 2020 Outstanding Achievement Awards in Educational Science Research of Zhejiang Province respectively.

The Research on the Dilemma and Realization Methods for Protecting College Students’ Rights and Interests on Their Internship and Practice applied by Professor Jin Jinbiao was approved by the National Office for Education Sciences Planning in July 2018 (the key program of the Ministry of Education). In recent years, the protection of college students' rights and interests on their internship and practice has always been one of the hot issues that attracted much attention from all social circles, and is also the key research field that this research group has been focusing on for a long time. The research group has published 4 high-end papers successively in the past 2 years, and on this basis, has applied for 2 provincial and ministerial-level research projects, and held 6 national academic report meetings. Zhejiang Education News, China Science Daily and other media have made corresponding reports. The research results have been adopted by the Provincial Department of Education and related departments; more than 10 colleges and universities in and outside Zhejiang Province have visited our university to exchange and learn experiences, which achieved good social benefits.

Gao Fei applied for Research on the Development Paths of High-level Application-Oriented Universities from the Perspective of Quality Culture. The research group has produced a number of high-level achievements, including 1 monograph published by Zhejiang University Press, 1 first-level paper published in Zhejiang University Journal, and 1 core paper in Peking University Journal. The monograph has been listed as a key recommended bibliography on the official account "Qiushi Good Books" of the Social Science Publishing Center of Zhejiang University Press twice consecutively, and relevant achievements got well recognized by peers. Several colleges and universities have taken the research suggestions of this research project in their application-oriented construction, which provided an important reference for their reform.

Our university attaches great importance to the application of scientific research projects, focuses on the excellent development of scientific research, and pays close attention to the application of project achievements above the department level. The Office of Academic Research specially uses the basic scientific research funds of universities to set up the training program for research achievements. In 2021, our university organized the application of project achievements of department level and above and won 8 achievement awards of the department level and above from the Ministry of Education, with fruitful performance.

In the future, our university will further strengthen the training and application of high-end research achievements, keep track of progress in time, and strive to win high-quality awards, consolidate the scientific research foundation, and make new contributions to the university’s objectives of "quality improvement and upgradation" and "famous non-governmental university".
