The 6th Academic Seminar about “Situations of Republic of Belarus and Relations with China” academic seminar sponsored by Research Center of Republic of Belarus of Beijing International Studies University and China – Republic of Belarus Development Analysis Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was held in a way of video meeting in the morning of December 4. Totally more than 40 people including Ji Jinbiao, President of Beijing International Studies University, Cui Qiming, secretary of the Party committee of Institute of Diplomacy (an ex-Chinese ambassador in Belarus), representative of Senko Yury, an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Republic of Belarus in China, as well as representatives from Research Centers of Republic of Belarus all over our country attended the meeting. Four experts such as Wang Xianju were invited to make speeches with the theme of “Situations of Republic of Belarus and Relations with China”, and 10 principals or representatives from Research Centers of Republic of Belarus all over our country introduced the latest research achievements or research experience. Related personnel of the Research Center of Republic of Belarus in our university attended the meeting. Invited by the meeting, Professor Xu Xuqing, director of the center, made a speech with the topic of “Develop Research on Countries and Provide for Development of the University”, to introduce exchange and cooperation conditions between our university and related units in Republic of Belarus, and was noticed and highly praised by participants.
