Recently, after the evaluation of the project expert group of the National Commission for the Study of the Collation of Ancient Books Among Universities, "The Annotated Collection of Shen Yue", which was led by Professor Lin Jiali from the School of Humanities and Foreign Languages of ZJSRU and Deng Chenglin, Wang Yanqing, He Mali and Lin Han as the participants, was listed as a directly funded project in 2021, with a funding of RMB 50,000 (approval number: 2171).

The National Collegiate Ancient Books Collation Project is listed separately in the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Planning Project, and is independently assessed by the National Collegiate Ancient Committee. This type of project is an important platform for promoting research on the construction of Ancient Chinese culture, and is included in the index system of scientific research projects in the fourth round of discipline evaluation. This plays an important role in the construction of Humanities and Social Science disciplines. This successful declaration is another achievement of the School of Humanities and Foreign Languages of ZJSRU in continuously broadening the channels for the declaration of the Humanities and Social Science projects, playing a positive role in further building the characteristic research of Humanities and Social Science of ZJSRU and enhancing the visibility of Humanities and Social Science of ZJSRU in Zhejiang and even in China. So far, our school has been successful in declaring The National Collegiate Ancient Books Collation Project for the third time.

The aim of this project is to collate and proofread the important documents in Shen Yue's collection of poems and writings (Shen Xiu Wen Ji/Shen Yin Hou Ji), with a view to provide a more in-depth analysis of Shen Yue's personality, and in doing so, fill in the gaps in the study of the literature of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, especially the Yongming style, and to contribute to the study of regional literature and culture. In this edition of Shen Yue's Collected Works, Professor Lin has used an earlier, isolated domestic copy as the base, and then an earlier (one of two surviving copies) as the main proof text. This valuable material is one of the main characteristics of this book.

It is reported that on 23 July this year, the 710th anniversary of the birth of Liu Ji, a distinguished military strategist, politician, literary scholar and thinker of the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties in China and a historical and cultural celebrity, a grand commemorative conference was held in Wenzhou and Lishui in Zhejiang Province, and Professor Lin Jiali from ZJSRU was invited to attend the conference in both places. At the Wenzhou venue, Lin presided over a conference speech and gave the main report on 'Liu Ji's Literary Achievements'. At the Lishui venue, Lin gave a report on 'An Essay on Liu Ji's Saoti Poetry'. At the conference, Lin was elected as the Vice President of the Liu Ji Branch of the Chinese Ming History Society. Lin is the compiler of the Liu Ji Collection.
