“2021 World Science and Technology of Life Conference” was held in Hangzhou on November 19 - 21, 2021. Leaders such as Chen Zhu, Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, Lu Shan, Vice Governor of Zhejiang People’s Government, Xu Weihua, a member of the municipal Party committee and Deputy Mayor of Hangzhou, Go Zhanjun, Deputy Director General and a first grade inspector of the Third Bureau of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhou Tianhua, Vice President of Zhejiang University, and Yang Min, Vice Chairman of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, attended the conference and made speeches. Qiao Jianrong, the person in charge of the representative office of World Health Organization in China, made a speech through a video. The process of speeches from honored guests was hosted by Xie Zhiyuan, the secretary of the leading Party group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology. Many academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering such as Academician Zhang Boli, a winner of the “People’s Hero” national honor title, many experts and scholars from medical health and life science field all over the whole world, as well as representatives from government sectors and industries attended the conference, to research and discuss on innovation of technologies about life health. Li Lu, Dean of our school, and Zhang Qing, secretary of the Party committee, were invited to the conference.

The opening ceremony for China Standardized Whole-course Liver Disease Management Center, the opening ceremony for SATOL medical innovation and entrepreneurship camp, the prize-awarding ceremony for SATOL (China) life scientific and technological innovation and entrepreneurship competition, the signing ceremony for enterprise settlement in Yuhang Liangzhu Life Science and Technology Town and the prize-awarding ceremony for Shulan Medical Prize were held on the opening ceremony of the conference. Ten honored guests including Li Lu, the President, and Li Lanjuan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the opening ceremony for China Standardized Whole-course Liver Disease Management Center.
