On July 30, Teacher Zhao Xin - a teacher from the School of Urban Construction - representing Zhejiang Province, won second prize in The First National Teaching Innovation Contest for College Teachers, achieving a historic breakthrough for ZJSRU.
The contest was launched in September 30, 2020, and continued for a further ten months, with a total of 1023 universities and 50,386 teachers across the country participating. After the school and provincial competitions, 199 contestants were entered into the national final held at Fudan University.
Previously, Zhao Xin's team from the School of Urban Construction won the Grand Prize in Zhejiang Province and earned their place in the national contest. After intense preparation, polishing and upgrading, Zhao Xin's team finally won the national contest with their solid skills and high-quality design. This also demonstrated the University's continuous efforts in guiding teachers' love for their work, promoting innovative teaching methodologies and strengthening the position of undergraduate teaching as the university’s most essential component. This distinguished honour will reward the teachers for their persistence and innovation, and give them the confidence to continue raising talent for our country.
