From September 29 to October 5, 2019, Dr. Zhao Hongfei, a teacher of School of Urban Construction, Zhejiang Shuren University, was invited to attend the 25th IUFRO World Congress in Curitiba, Brazil.

The conference, held every five years by the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO), was a grand international exchange and collaboration event in the forestry field, attended by more than 2,000 delegates from 90 countries and regions.

The theme of the conference was "Forest Research and Cooperation for Sustainable Development," which included sustainable forestry development, cooperation in forestry education, forests and climate change, biodiversity and ecosystem services, forestry and forestry products, as well as exhibition of educational organization teams, scientific and technical papers, and forestry scientific and technical achievements.
